Pedro Alvarez launches two-run homer

Pittsburgh Pirates slugger Pedro Alvarez launched a two-run homer to dead centerfield, giving the Pirates a 3-0 lead over the St. Louis Cardinals.

The third baseman hit a homer in Thursday’s game, and roped a double in his first at-bat. Alvarez seems unfazed by the added pressure of postseason baseball, which is a great sign for Pirates fans.
