A pair of rookies will take the mound in a critical Game 3.

A pair of rookies will square off in this key matchup. Hyun-Jin Ryu will take the mound for Los Angeles. Ryu impressed during his first year in MLB, going 14-8 with a 3.00 ERA. The southpaw owns an above-average strikeout-to-walk ratio, and finished the regular season with the eighth-highest groundball percentage among qualified NL starters.
The Braves will counter with Julio Teheran. Teheran received a lot of hype as a prospect, and he began to realize his potential in 2013, going 14-8 with a 3.20 ERA in his first full season in the majors. The righthander struck out 170 batters over 185-2/3 innings while keeping his walk and home run rates in check.
First pitch is scheduled for 8:07 p.m. ET, with TBS televising the game. If you cannot watch the game on TV, you can follow along with our live stream of the game, which will feature scoring updates every two innings.
