The Braves pulled even with two runs in the top of the third inning. Justin Upton, Freddie Freeman and Evan Gattis led off the inning with three consecutive singles. Brian McCann hit what should have been a double-play, but Ryu missed the bag covering first:
Chris Johnson followed with a dribbler back to Ryu, who attempted to throw Freeman out at home. Freeman easily beat the throw, tying the game at 4-4.
Ryu forced Andrelton Simmons to hit into an inning-ending double play, but not before drawing the ire of Tommy Lasorda:

Both starting pitchers struggled in this game. Hyun-Jin Ryu only lasted three innings before Don Mattingly lifted him for pinch-hitter Michael Young in the fourth, while Julio Teheran worked 2 2/3 innings before Alex Wood bailed him out in the third. Jeff Sullivan of Fangraphs noted how rare it is for both starters to exit the game so early:

Chris Capuano came in for Los Angeles in the top of the fourth, working around a Johnson lead-off walk to pitch a scoreless frame.
Carl Crawford led off the bottom of the fourth with a drag-bunt single. Wood forced Mark Ellis to flyout to center field, but Ramirez followed with a triple to left-center, driving in Crawford.
Ramirez has a double and a triple through three plate appearances. Wood momentarily recovered after the triple, striking out Gonzalez, but Puig connected on a two-strike, RBI single, driving in Ramirez. Uribe followed with a two-run homer to right field, giving the Dodgers a 10-4 lead.
Wood forced a Schumaker groundout to end the frame, but the game has quickly gotten away from the Braves.
