Dodgers regain lead with 2 runs in the 3rd

The Los Angeles Dodgers responded quickly to the Atlanta Braves scoring two runs in the top of the third, scoring two runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning to give the home team a 6-4 advantage.

Hanley Ramirez led off the inning with a double, scoring on an Adrian Gonzalez single. Yasiel Puig followed with a fielder's choice to third, but Elliot Johnson made an errant throw to first, allowing Puig to advance to second.

Julio Teheran momentarily recovered, striking out Juan Uribe for the second out of the inning. Skip Schumaker followed with a two-out single, driving in Puig.

Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez left Teheran in the game, to the surprise of many on Twitter:

A.J. Ellis hit a single against Teheran, finally getting Gonzalez to pull him in favor of Alex Wood. Don Mattingly countered by sending Michael Young to the plate, hitting for Hyun-Jin Ryu. Wood struck out Young to end the inning.
