The Oakland Athletics and Detroit Tigers have announced their starting lineups for Game 3 of the ALDS. The series is tied 1-1.
Athletics vs. Tigers: ALDS Game 3 starting lineups
Jim Leyland will start Jhonny Peralta in left field, hoping to give the Tigers offense a boost.


The Athletics are using the same lineup that they employed in Game 2. Oakland only scored one run against Justin Verlander, but ended up winning 1-0. The Athletics official Twitter account sent out a picture their batting order:

Detroit will start Jhonny Peralta in left field, hoping to spark the Tigers offense. Peralta's only experience as a big-league outfielder came in the Tigers' three-game series to end the season against the Miami Marlins. Detroit's official Twitter account announced their starting nine:
