Athletics vs. Tigers: ALDS Game 4 starting lineups

Doug Fister starts for the Tigers while Dan Straily takes the mound for Oakland.

The Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics have announced their starting lineups for Game 4 of their American League Divisional Series on Tuesday. Detroit is on the brink of elimination, as Oakland leads two games to one.

The Tigers will have the exact same starting eight as in Game 3. Torii Hunter jammed his shoulder during Monday’s game, but is remaining in the lineup. Jhonny Peralta is the first Detroit left fielder to start two games in the series after tying Game 3 in the fourth inning with an RBI single. The Tigers went on to lost that game.

The Athletics will also be starting their same lineup from Game 3. The only change the Athletics have made since Game 2 had been switching Josh Donaldson and Jed Lowrie in the batting order. Donaldson continues to bat second while Lowrie is batting third.

Game 4 is scheduled to begin at 5:07 pm EST Tuesday evening.
