The Tampa Bay Rays took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning. That wouldn’t last long.
Red Sox tie game on wild pitch
With two outs and runners on first and third in the top of the seventh, a wild pitch from Rays’ reliever Jake McGee allowed Xander Bogaerts to come home and tie the game.
The Red Sox would get one more run after Shane Victorino singled in Jacoby Ellsbury, who moved from first to third on the wild pitch.
Boston now leads 2-1 in Game 4 of the American League Division Series.
