The Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers have agreed to a trade that includes swapping All-Stars Ian Kinsler and Prince Fielder, according to CBS Sports' Jon Heyman.
Tigers, Rangers agree to Prince Fielder, Ian Kinsler trade, per report
We have our first blockbuster of the offseason.

The Tigers have other options for first base, including moving Miguel Cabrera across the diamond, which would open a spot at third base for top prospect Nick Castellanos. The impending departure of free agent Omar Infante gave the team a hole at second base that needed to be filled.
The Rangers, who have lacked a power-hitting first baseman throughout their recent tenure as contenders in the American League, will likely slide highly touted youngster Jurickson Profar in at second base.
Fielder is owed $24 million per season through 2020 and can block trades to all but 10 teams. It is not known if the Rangers are one of those clubs.
Kinsler still has $57 million remaining on his contract, which expires after the 2017 season. The deal also includes a $10 million option or $5 million buyout for 2018.
The Tigers will reportedly send $30 million to the Rangers as part of the trade, per Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports.
