Free agent reliever LaTroy Hawkins says he has already received phone calls from two teams interested in acquiring him this offseason, reports Jim Duquette of MLB.com.
Latroy Hawkins free agency: RP drawing interest from multiple teams
Hawkins had an excellent year in 2013 and figures to remain a valuable reliever going forward.

Hawkins refrained from saying who those teams were, but there will likely be plenty of teams looking for another bullpen option that may come fairly cheap.
The Mets, Hawkins' 2013 squad, have made it public that they would like to bring him back into the fold. On Hawkins part, he said he enjoyed his time with the team and is certainly open to a return to Queens, but wants to test the market first.
Hawkins, 40, is still effective despite his age. In 2013, he made 72 appearances while posting a 2.93 ERA and 1.15 WHIP. He also collected 13 saves while taking over the closers role while Bobby Parnell was out of action. Hawkins made $1 million on a one-year deal last season and does not figure to get a much bigger deal this offseason.
