MLB free agency 2013: Rockies interested in Brian Wilson
Colorado needs help on the mound, and might stay within the division to get it.

Colorado has some holes to fill in both its starting rotation and the bullpen, making Wilson an attractive candidate. For his entire career, Wilson has been a force in the National League West, first with the San Francisco Giants and then the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Last year, Wilson returned from Tommy John surgery to pitch 18 games and earn a 0.66 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP. It was the first time Wilson pitched in the major leagues since the beginning of 2012 with San Francisco, when Wilson blew out his arm.
Colorado is also looking into Grant Balfour, who made the All-Star team as the Oakland A's closer this past year. Balfour was terrific, saving 38 of 41 chances for the American League West champs.
