But here’s the thing: even if you DO like sports -- even if you instantly recognize a myriad of logos and create the semiotic link in your head to the team they represent on a daily basis -- they’re insanely hard to recreate from memory alone.

The Detroit Tigers may have one of the most iconic, simple and straightforward logos in all of Major League Baseball. It's just an Olde English "D," of course. Detroit celebrities from Kid Rock to Eminem (in other words, BOTH Detroit celebrities) have the logo as a tattoo. How hard could it be?!
