Even if you don’t like sports, there are many sports logos with which you may be familiar. But here’s the thing: even if you DO like sports -- even if you instantly recognize a myriad of logos and create the semiotic link in your head to the team they represent on a daily basis -- they’re insanely hard to recreate from memory alone.

Maybe you haven't thought about the Arizona Diamondbacks since they wore purple and pinstripes and had cutoff sleeves and a dude with massive Urkel glasses getting clutch World Series Game 7 hits. Back then, the Diamondbacks were rocking that big letter "A" with the forked tongue in the middle. If that's your most recent experience with the desert snakes, we encourage you to try drawing that logo. Personally, I attempted to draw the current cap logo, which is an eponymous Diamondback snake twisted up into the letter "D." Sounds simple enough, right?
Aw, dangit. Sort of got distracted thinking about Disney’s Robin Hood, I guess. And ... I really did not intend for it to look like this snake is wearing sunglasses. Also he has a bad case of Garfield-back.
