Cobb left Saturday’s game on a stretcher after he was struck in the head with a line drive. The Rays said all tests came back normal and that the pitcher was diagnosed with a mild concussion.
UPDATE: The Rays say Cobb suffered a mild concussion and that all test came back normal.

The incident occurred in the fifth inning of the game, when Eric Hosmer hit a line drive back up the middle. It hit just above Cobb's right ear, the Rays say, causing him to fall to the ground holding his head. The game was delayed for several minutes as trainers tended to Cobb with several of his Rays teammates gathered nearby.
After Cobb was removed on a stretcher through the home plate tunnel with arms crossed across his chest, he was replaced in the game by Alex Torres.

UPDATE: More good news from the hospital, as Cobb was in good spirits and visited by both teammates like Chris Archer and Hosmer, who hit the line drive.
Can't thank everyone enough for the prayers. Was the only way for me to make it out of there ok. Look forward to getting back out there.
