Peterson’s best skill is his hit tool, as he projects to make solid contact and hit for above-average power at the next level. Peterson plays shortstop for his high school team, but most scouts believe he will move to either second or third base.
He is committed to play for the Arizona State Sun Devils, but if a team selects Peterson in the first round, he may skip college and join his older brother at the professional level.
