Rays 11, Indians 3: Rays hitters battered Cleveland pitching, picking up 14 hits and drawing five walks. Yunel Escobar and Evan Longoria both hit two-run homers for Tampa Bay.

Orioles 4, Tigers 2: Chris Davis smashed his 20th home run of the season, a solo shot in the seventh that started a three-run rally. Orioles rookie Kevin Gausman had his first quality start at the major-league level, allowing one run in six innings against the Tigers.

Marlins 11, Mets 6: The Marlins completed a three-game sweep of the Mets, tagging Matt Harvey with ten hits and four runs in five innings pitched. New York reliever Scott Rice had an ineffective outing in relief of Harvey, allowing three runs on one hit and four walks in ⅔ of an inning.

Braves 6, Nationals 3: The Braves continue to frustrate the Nationals, as Atlanta is now 7-3 against Washington to start the season. Justin Upton went 3-4 on the day, and B.J. Upton went yard for the fifth time this season.

Phillies 7, Brewers 5: Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown had an impressive day at the plate, going 3-3 with a triple and a home run. Cliff Lee fanned 11 Brewers hitters and walked no one over 7⅔ innings.

Pirates 5, Reds 4 (F/11): Garret Jones' home run in the bottom the eight inning was truly impressive, a 450+ foot blast that cleared the stadium and landed in the river beyond right field. Most importantly, it tied the game at four runs, finally erasing a four-run lead that the Reds had mounted all the way back in the first inning. Travis Snider lined a walk-off single into right in the 11th inning to seal it for the Pirates and avoid being swept at home.

Twins 10, Mariners 0: The Twins hit eight extra-base hits off Mariners pitching, including four home runs. Scott Diamond tossed six shutout innings to pick up his fourth win of the season.

Giants 4, Cardinals 2: The Giants handed Tyler Lyons his first loss as a big-leaguer to avoid a three-game sweep against the Cardinals. Buster Posey went 4-4 at the plate with two doubles.

Diamondbacks 8, Cubs 4: Edwin Jackson continues to struggle for the Cubs, as he is now 1-8 on the season with a 6.29 ERA. Arizona starer Partick Corbin, on the other hand, is 9-0 with a 2.06 ERA.

Rangers 3, Royals 1: Jurickson Profar hit a go-ahead home in the bottom of the eighth to break a 1-1 tie. Yu Darvish had another strong start, striking out six Royals hitters over seven shutout innings.

Rockies 7, Dodgers 2: Colorado hit four home runs off Dodgers starter Matt Magill, including two homers by Dexter Fowler. Jorge De La Rosa continues to pitch well this season, and is now 7-3 with a 3.10 ERA.

Astros 5, Angels 4: Chris Corporan and Carlos Pena both hit solo home runs for the Astros, who survived a two-run rally by the Angels in the ninth inning. Houston has now won five straight, including a three-game sweep against Los Angeles.

Athletics 2, White Sox 0: Jarrod Parker and three relievers combined on a three-hit shutout and Coco Crisp scored both runs to help Oakland move to ten games over .500.

Red Sox 3, Yankees 0 (F/6): Boston was able to take the rubber match of their three-game set in the Bronx in a rain-shortened game. Mike Napoli drove in the first run of the game with an RBI groundout in the top of the fourth, while Jose Iglesias and David Ortiz led off the fifth and sixth innings, respectively, with home runs off Hiroki Kuroda. The rain began to fall in earnest in the middle of the sixth inning and the game was called.

Blue Jays 7, Padres 4 (F/10): In Sunday's nightcap, the Padres gave up an early 4-1 lead and had the game fall apart in extra innings, as Mark DeRosa led off the top of the tenth with his fourth home run of the year. The Jays tacked on two more runs before Aaron Loup sent the Padres down in order to finish the game.
