Major League Baseball revealed the top American League All-Star voting receivers on Monday, and Detroit Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera has received the most votes.

Robinson Cano has received the second most votes in the AL, while Chris Davis has a slight vote advantage of Prince Fielder

Cabrera leads all AL position players with 1,500,165 votes, followed by New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano with 1,235,230 votes. Mike Trout, Adam Jones, Chris Davis, David Ortiz and Prince Fielder are the five other AL players who have received over 1 million votes.
If voting closed today, the AL All-Star starting nine would be the following nine players
C - Joe Mauer, Minnesota Twins
1B - Chris Davis, Baltimore Orioles
2B - Robinson Cano, New York Yankees
3B - Miguel Cabrera, Detroit Tigers
SS - Elvis Andrus, Texas Rangers
OF - Mike Trout, Los Angeles Angels
OF - Adam Jones, Baltimore Orioles
OF - Torii Hunter, Detroit Tigers
DH - David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox
Part of the fun for looking at All-Star voting is to see who is among the top vote-getters despite not earning those votes with their play this season. Brian Roberts received the 5th most votes for a second baseman despite only having 12 plate appearances this season. Derek Jeter has the fifth most votes for a shortstop despite not playing a single inning for the Yankees in 2013.
There is still time to cast your vote online. Fans can submit up to 25 ballots online using the official 2013 All-Star Game MLB.com Ballot. Voting is open unil 11:59 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 4.
