Cuban infielder Alexander Guerrero breaks off deal with Dodgers, remains free agent
The big Cuban prospect is now a free agent.

In his final year in Cuba, the infielder posted a line of .290/.402/.576 with 21 home runs, and will likely enter whichever organization he signs with as a second baseman at the Double-A or Triple-A level.
Guerrero is represented by super-agent Scott Boras, and the two may be attempting to negotiate a better deal with the Dodgers.
It was previously reported that Guerrero would sign a five year, $32 million pact with the team. Guerrero was seen as an ideal signing for the Dodgers, who have 36-year-old Mark Ellis (.273/.326/.355) currently starting at the second base position.
