We're only two innings into the first game of the 2014 ALDS between the Orioles and Tigers, and it's ... not a pitching duel so far. In the first, MLB home run leader Nelson Cruz greeted defending Cy Young award winner Max Scherzer with this opposite-field shot:
2014 ALDS Game 1, Orioles vs. Tigers score: BOMBS AWAY IN BALTIMORE, Orioles lead 3-2 after 2 innings
However, the Tigers came roaring back in the top of the second against Chris Tillman. Victor Martinez and J.D. Martinez opened the frame with back-to-back bombs to right.
The #Tigers have hit back-to-back homers in the postseason for the first time since Oct. 6, 2011 at New York (Don Kelly/Delmon Young).

The action continued in the bottom of the frame. With two on and two out, Nick Markakis flared a single between three Detroit defenders to knock in Ryan Flaherty and re-take the lead, 3-2.
We’re headed to the top of the third. Rajai Davis, Ian Kinsler and Torii Hunter are due up for Detroit. Despite the long balls, Tillman has struck out five batters already.
