The Los Angeles Dodgers held off the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 2 to even up their best-of-five series, and now the two teams will face off Monday night in a crucial NLDS contest. The Dodgers will send Hyun-jin Ryu to the mound, even though the lefty hasn't pitched since Sept. 12 after being shut down due to shoulder discomfort. Ryu lasted just an inning in that outing, and the Dodgers are now placing a lot of faith in the southpaw's health.
Dodgers, Cardinals announce lineups for NLDS Game 3
With the series all tied up after the first two games, the Dodgers and Cardinals will battle for control of their NLDS matchup.

St. Louis will counter with right-hander John Lackey, whom they acquired at the trade deadline for just this type of game. Lackey has made 16 career starts in the postseason and helped lead the Red Sox to a World Series title last October. The 35-year-old does enter the game with his share of question marks, however, after a bumpy September and some noticeable loss in velocity during the season's second half.
Both pitchers will face similar lineups to what each club went with in the first two games of the series:

— MLB (@MLB) October 6, 2014 Cardinals manager Mike Matheny did make one slight change, moving right-handed rookie outfielder Randal Grichuk back to the No. 2 spot in the lineup with the lefty Ryu on the mound. Center fielder Jon Jay is back down in the order after hitting second in Game 2.
For the Dodgers, the lineup is exactly the same as the one manager Don Mattingly wrote down for each of the first two contests.
