Rangers starter Matt Harrison was pulled in the second inning of the team's game against the Astros on Tuesday after experiencing back tightness, according to Evan P. Grant of the Dallas Morning News
MLB news: Matt Harrison leaves game with back injury, Mike Trout briefly scares everyone
The Rangers potentially suffered a big blow to their rotation on Tuesday and Mike Trout came through with a “funny” joke.

Though he escaped the first inning damage-free, Harrison didn’t look right from the start. He surrendered a pair of walks in between the first and second outs of the opening frame and completely unraveled in the second, giving up four hits -- including a homer -- and a walk before being removed from the game.
Harrison made only two starts in 2013 as a result of a herniated disc in his back, and the same injury caused him to make his 2014 season debut almost four weeks late.
The 28-year-old left-hander entered Tuesday with 2.87 ERA in three starts this year. In 2011, his last full season, Harrison posted a 3.29 ERA in 213⅓ innings, earning him an All-Star selection and some Cy Young votes.
Diamondbacks' Arroyo, Royals' Shields reach strikeout milestone
Bronson Arroyo and James Shields both reached 1,500 career strikeouts on Tuesday, becoming the 193rd and 194th pitchers in Major League Baseball history to accomplish the feat.
Arroyo fanned Nationals outfielder Denard Span for the first out of the game to hit the benchmark first. A while later, Shields struck out Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki to join Arroyo on the list.
Trout fakes injury ... kind of
Angels star outfielder Mike Trout briefly scared the crap out of his manager -- and Angels fans everywhere -- prior to the team's game against the Phillies:
Mike Trout just walked by Scioscia grabbing his hamstring. "I don't think I can go today." Then laughed and jogged off. #Angels
— Alden Gonzalez (@Alden_Gonzalez) May 13, 2014 Trout went 1-for-5 at the plate in his de facto homecoming, which the Angels won, 4-3.
