There were four minor league All-Star contests on Tuesday. Here’s a summary of each of them.

Waldrop had half of his team's hits but made them count, plating a run on a second-inning single before homering in the fourth. Colorado Rockies infield prospect Trevor Story and Arizona Diamondbacks farmhand Brandon Drury had the other two hits for the winning squad. Houston Astros farmhand Carlos Correa, the No. 7 overall prospect in baseball entering the season according to Baseball America, went 0-for-2 with a strikeout.
The Carolina League All-Stars outhit their opponent, 7-4, but they had only one extra-base hit, a triple off the bat of Texas Rangers catching prospect Jorge Alfaro. Atlanta Braves farmhand Kyle Wren led the Carolina League team with two hits.
Reds pitching prospect Ben Lively started for the California League team and was the only pitcher for either team to last more than one inning. He struck out two batters in two scoreless frames.
Rays' Motter shines in Southern League
Tampa Bay Rays farmhand Taylor Motter went 3-for-3 with a homer for the South squad in their 6-4 win in a Southern League All-Star Game that featured 26 combined hits.
Every starter for the South squad had at least one hit but Motter and Reds farmhand Rey Navarro, who went 2-for-5, were the only players with more than that. Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Scott Schebler doubled and homered for the North team. His Chattanooga teammate, O'Koyea Dickson, also homered in the ninth. Milwaukee Brewers farmhand Jason Rogers added a couple of hits.
Chicago Cubs top prospect Kris Bryant went 1-for-5 with a single while the Reds' No. 1 prospect, Robert Stephenson, surrendered a run on two hits in an inning of work.
South Atlantic League stars finish in tie
Dominique Taylor, an outfielder in the Kansas City Royals organization, hit a two-run single in the top of the 10th inning to give the South Atlantic League's South All-Stars a two-run lead. That lead was short-lived, as the North squad tacked on a pair in the bottom half of the frame to force a 4-4 tie in the Sally League's midsummer classic.
In a battle of highly touted prospects, Rockies minor league outfielder David Dahl led off the game with a first-pitch double off of Baltimore Orioles farmhand Hunter Harvey but was stranded at second. Dahl finished 1-for-2 with a walk while Harvey exited after a scoreless inning of work.
Midwest League’s West stars carry no-hitter into eighth inning
It took until one out in the eighth inning, but the East division stars of the Midwest League came up with a couple of hits in an otherwise rough 7-0 loss to the West squad.
Marty Herum, an infielder in the Diamondbacks organization, broke up the no-no with a single off of St. Louis Cardinals relief prospect Chris Perry. Fellow D-Backs farmhand Daniel Palka had the only other hit for the East team.
Chad Hinshaw of the Los Angeles Angels' A-ball affiliate in Burlington homered and drove in a pair of runs. Oakland Athletics outfield prospect Herschel Powell doubled, walked twice, drove in a pair of runs and scored three runs from the top spot in the order.
