The Dodgers are still open to moving outfielder Matt Kemp, but have yet to draw serious interest, according to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal.
MLB trade rumors: Dodgers still open to moving Matt Kemp, Phillies still listening on Marlon Byrd
There isn’t a lot of new news about a pair of talented outfielders who are reportedly on the trading block, but we’ve still got a long way to go until the deadline.

Kemp, who is owed about $114 million through 2019, remains a highly-intriguing option on the trade market, but there has been little momentum in talks between the Dodgers and potentially interested suitors. The Red Sox, Indians, Mariners and Rangers are among teams that have had discussions with Los Angeles' brass regarding the 29-year-old native of Oklahoma.
Minor league outfielder Joc Pederson is pounding on the door to the majors, hitting .324/.449/.576 for Triple-A Albuquerque. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly wants Pederson to be the team's starting center fielder, according to Rosenthal, but there are others in the organization who don't feel the 22-year-old prospect is ready for the next level. That could be part of the reason talks have yet to advance beyond the feeler stage, but there reportedly are rival executives who believe the Dodgers desperately want to move Kemp.
Philadelphia listening on Byrd
MLB Trade Deadline
The Phillies are still fielding offers for veteran outfielder Marlon Byrd, according to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, but have yet to come to an agreement on a potential return.
The Reds have emerged as an interested party and are engaging in ongoing talks with the Phillies, per MLB Network Radio's Jim Bowden. However, the fact that a deal hasn't been reached is a good indicator that Cincinnati is one of the clubs that feels Philadelphia's asking price is too high.
Baltimore looking for a catcher
The Orioles are placing a priority on a starting pitcher and bullpen arm, but the team is also looking into an upgrade behind the plate, according to MASNsports.com's Roch Kubatko.
The team is pleased with the defensive performance of catching incumbents Caleb Joseph and Nick Hundley, but they've "got to get better offensive production the rest of way," Orioles executive vice president Dan Duquette told Kubatko. Joseph is hitting .183/.265/.296 in 135 plate appearances and Hundley, who was acquired from the Padres on May 24, owns a .221/.253/.338 line since his arrival in Baltimore.
Twins catcher Kurt Suzuki could be a potential target, Kubatko said. Suzuki, who was selected to the AL All-Star squad, is hitting .312/.370/.397 and is on pace for his highest number of plate appearances in a single season since 2009.
