Yankees catcher Brian McCann has had a tough year, but he was able to shake it off during his only at bat Sunday. The 10-year veteran hit a three-run, pinch-hit walk-off homer for the Yankees in a 7-4 win over the White Sox.
MLB scores: Brian McCann and the Yankees walk off, South Korea wins Little League World Series
The Bombers celebrated a walk-off win, but no one celebrated quite like the Little League World Series champions.

The win pulled the Yankees to within six games of the Orioles in the American League East. With Seattle winning, New York didn’t pick up any ground in the wild card chase and still trails the Mariners by 3.5 games for the second wild card spot. If McCann can get going offensively during the final stretch of the season, it could be a major boost for New York’s postseason hopes.
