Cardinals vs. Cubs 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch NLDS Game 3 online

The Cubs have won in Jake Arrieta’s last 14 starts, including the playoffs.

Update: Today’s Cubs vs. Cardinals streaming info for NLDS Game 4.

The Chicago Cubs will send ace Jake Arrieta to the mound on Monday evening in the pivotal Game 3 of their National League Division Series against the rival St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field.

Arrieta pitched a five-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts on Wednesday to beat the Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League Wild Card Game. It was the fourth straight scoreless start for Arrieta, and the ninth scoreless start in his last 13 outings, during which his ERA is a paltry 0.37.

The Cardinals will counter with Michael Wacha, who was 17-7 with a 3.38 ERA in 30 starts during the regular season, though he struggled down the stretch with a 7.88 ERA in September with nearly as many walks (18) as strikeouts (19).

“You’re going to have ups and downs every season, and this is still a young pitcher,” Cardinals manager Mike Matheny said of Wacha. “And we saw some times where it just looked like something was out of sync. We also saw a couple of starts where he looked really good. You’re always fighting health issues, which Michael has done, but overall we like what he’s been able to do all season, and when he’s on, we put him up against anybody.”

Chicago will have the advantage at home, not just because of familiarity but also because of proper nourishment, including “Breakfast at Wrigley” on Sunday’s off day. With an omelet station!

Brian Anderson, Joe Simpson, Dennis Eckersley and Matt Winer will call Game 3 for TBS, with online streaming of the game available on TBS.com or the TBS app, with authenticated users needing to login using their television provider information. In addition, Postseason.tv will offer up to 10 live alternative camera angles during the broadcast.
