The best-of-five series is tied, 1-1.
Harvey was 13-8 with a 2.71 ERA in 29 starts in his first season back from Tommy John surgery, with 188 strikeouts in 189⅓ innings.
“I think we have the right guy on the mound for us on Monday,” manager Terry Collins said. “He’s the ace. This guy loves pressure. He loves the big stage. He’s shown he’s pitched great when he’s had to pitch on the big stage in a big game.”
The Dodgers will counter with left-hander Brett Anderson, who has an injury history of his own. After various injuries limited Anderson to 206 innings total in 2011-2014 combined, Anderson rebounded to go 10-9 with a 3.69 ERA in 31 starts and 180⅓ innings. He set career highs in both starts and innings, with numbers not approached since his rookie campaign in 2009.
Former Mets infielder and current Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner is 4-for-8 with three doubles in the first two games of the series against his old team.
New York was 49-32 at home this season.
