Little League World Series 2015 schedule for Sunday

Sunday is a day of winners at the 2015 Little League World Series, as all eight teams that won on the opening day of play Friday will be in action, looking for spots in the semifinals of the U.S. and international sides of the bracket.

The two U.S. teams with the biggest wins on Friday will face tough tests on Sunday. Red Land Little League from Lewisberry, Pa., representing the Mid-Atlantic, won 18-0 in their opening game, but will face the Northwood Little League team from Taylors, South Carolina, who no-hit Rhode Island in its opener. But Alex Edmonson won’t be pitching for the Southeast squad on Sunday.

The West team, from Bonita, Calif., dispatched Kentucky 14-2 on Friday, but will face the Pearland West Little League team from Texas, the Southwest team that beat Oregon in a hard-fought 1-0 win on Friday.

On the international side, the team from Uganda looks for a second straight win, facing Venezuela in the opening game on Sunday at 11 a.m. ET.

ESPN will televise both international games on Sunday, with the first U.S. game on ABC followed by the nightcap on ESPN2. All four games will be available online via WatchESPN.
