Angels superstar outfielder Mike Trout won a fan vote and will be the No. 1 card in the 2016 Topps baseball card set, the company announced on Thursday.

“The first card in the Topps baseball set has historically been given to top players or has been meaningful,” said Topps vice president David Leiner in a statement.

Trout was also the No. 1 card in the 2014 Topps set.

Trout hit .299/.402/.590 with a career-high 41 home runs in 2015 for the Angels, and finished second in American League MVP voting to Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson. In Trout's four full major league seasons he has won one MVP (2014) and finished second three times (2012, 2013, 2015).

Trout’s previous regular cards in Topps sets have been numbered 144 (2012), 27 (2013) and 300 (2015).
