After watching the first two rounds and 77 picks on Thursday night, the 2016 MLB Draft moves to a quicker pace with Rounds 3-10 on Friday, with festivities getting underway at 1 p.m. ET.

There were four minutes in between picks in the first round on Thursday night, then one minute in between picks in the second round plus both Competitive Balance Rounds A and B. That same one-minute interval will apply all day Friday, all the way through Round 10.
For Rounds 11-40 on Saturday, there is no time in between picks, which is why all 30 rounds can be crammed into a single day.
Notable picks from Rounds 3-10 in recent years include both Cy Young Award winners from 2015. Jake Arrieta was picked in the fifth round in 2007 by the Baltimore Orioles, and Dallas Keuchel was selected by the Houston Astros in the seventh round in 2009.
2014 American League Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber was taken in the fourth round by the San Diego Padres in 2007.
There is no television coverage of the remainder of the draft, though MLB.com will stream the remainder of the draft online. On Friday, that starts at 12:30 p.m., 30 minutes before the third round begins. Friday’s online coverage will feature commentary and analysis throughout by Jim Callis and Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com.
