Watch 13-year-old Jayce Blalock hit a home run at SunTrust Park
Keep an eye on this kid.

Wham!
That’s Jayce Blalock, only 13 years of age, hitting a ball out of SunTrust park.
While the Little League World Series can be fun to see kids hit dingers and bash balls, those park dimensions aren’t the same as what things would look like in a major league park, so it’s only impressive on the scale that’s set in that competition.
So seeing a Little Leaguer hit a home run over the fences at SunTrust park is quite a sight and amazing and just wow.
Blalock played for the Georgia Little League team, which lost in the Southeast Region’s final game against North Carolina, and made a few headlines for his offense in the tournament — but this is next level. The Braves invited him to take some swings at the field and what happened next not even they could predict, probably.
Clearly the best part here is his reaction, as if he wasn’t even sure he was capable of clearing the fences at the MLB level. Pure joy and excitement. Even though he’s hitting at the adult level, he’s definitely still a kid at heart.
Which is good for now, but everyone should keep an eye out for him as he grows older.
