Due to the damage caused, and continuing to be caused, by Hurricane Harvey, the Astros are playing their current series against the Rangers in Tampa Bay rather than at Minute Maid Park in their home city.
Astros players sent heartfelt video messages home to Houston
After a neutral site series in Florida, the Astros will return home this weekend.

It’s been a tough time for the team, seeing as they haven’t been back to the city to see their families and help first hand despite the players’ and team’s efforts from afar.
The Astros as an organization donated $4 million to relief funds, and the region’s plight hasn’t been far from the team’s — or the league’s — mind since Harvey first hit over the weekend.
In a new video, taken before their second game against the Rangers in Florida, a few Astros send their best wishes and thoughts home to Houston while they remain away.
In the video multiple members of the team relay how much they’ve been thinking of everyone in Houston, acknowledge how tough things are emotionally and on the ground, and promise that they’ll be back home to help out.
It’s emotional, and a reminder that even now that the worst of it may have passed there’s still a lot of pain and suffering in southeast Texas that is going to need a lot of support to get through.
The Astros will head back to the city to face the Mets at home this weekend, but until then this is a great message to send home to the people of Texas.
