How does he keep doing this!?
Byron Buxton makes another ridiculous catch before slamming into the outfield wall
He’s going to hurt himself one of these days.

At this point, if Byron Buxton doesn’t win a Gold Glove people might riot in the streets. (It doesn’t feel like Minnesota is really a “rioting” state but this might be the development that finally pushes it over the edge.)
Buxton’s latest impressive defensive play involved him somehow running over a hundred feet in only six seconds to make this catch.
As with seemingly every wowzer of a catch he pulls off, Buxton also put his health on the line by slamming into the outfield wall with vigor.
In case you weren’t already convinced of Buxton’s magic powers in the outfield, this defensive stat should change your mind.
That positive differential makes him MLB’s sixth-best team defensively too, not just player. Which is pretty nuts.
