The Orioles were down 2-1 to the Blue Jays in the bottom of the sixth when Chris Davis struck out. That’s a normal sentence, a normal baseball thing to happen in a close game. A pitcher struck out a batter and we can all move on to the next at bat happily ever after...
Chris Davis should be getting a call to join the Avengers any day now after this hulk out
...wait a minute it appears that Davis didn’t go quietly into that good night after all. Upset with his strikeout, he turned away from the plate and promptly snapped his bat right in two. It was actually pretty impressive.
Don’t try this at home though kids, Davis is probably stronger than you and almost certainly had more Anger Strength coursing through his veins when he made this bat look like a toothpick.
