By this point we’ve seen what Vladamir Guerrero, Jr. can do with a bat and a ball. The kid has power, and he knows how to use it. He proved that again only this morning by calling his shot and then hitting an opposite-field home run off a tee. Also, as a reminder, he’s only 19 years old.

Vlad Jr. plays for the Blue Jays’ Double-A affiliate in New Hampshire, the Fisher Cats. And on Monday night he had his first multi-home run game at that level, with his second home run traveling far enough to hit the Hilton Garden Inn that sits beyond the Fisher Cats’ left field fence.

Even if you say that the hotel isn’t that far beyond the outfield fence this is still astonishing. He smashed that ball! That hotel was just sitting there, minding it’s own business, and then was rudely attacked by a Vlad Guerrero, Jr. projectile.
This kid really has something going and if this is how he’s treating Double-A ball then personally I can’t wait to see how many other inns, hotels, bed and breakfasts, or AirBnB’s he hits during his career.
