There’s a lot on the line for the four teams competing in Friday’s pair of games, as two teams will try and snag a spot in the championship series of the 2018 College World Series. Will MSU and Arkansas seal their spot in the championship series? Or will their opponents force a tie-breaker? Here is all your time, TV, and livestream info.

You can also catch Friday’s game online via WatchESPN, the ESPN App, or a subscription service that carries it. All tournament games are played at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska.
Known as the Diamond Dawgs, the Mississippi State team absolutely demolished the North Carolina Tarheels earlier in the week with a 12-2 win, thanks in large part to the seven-RBI effort from Jordan Westburg. Oregon State also beat the Tarheels this week, getting their revenge from the opening game of the tournament and knocking them out of contention with an 11-6 victory, to advance to Friday’s lineup.
Mississippi State has the advantage heading into the matchup. They enter Friday’s game with no losses yet in the CWS, and with the Beavers notching one loss early on, should the Diamond Dawgs finish on top, they’ll seal their place in the final series. If Oregon State claims the upset, they’ll force Mississippi State into a winner-take-all situation on Saturday.
The night game on Friday will feature the Razorbacks and Gaters . Arkansas has the advantage heading into the matchup, with no losses, and pretty big wins over Texas (11-5) and Texas Tech (7-4) earlier this week. The Gators knocked off Texas Tech on Thursday, delivering them their second loss of the tournament, 9-6. Florida has ridden the loser’s bracket all the way to this point, and has a chance to pull of an upset.
Should Arkansas claim the victory on Friday night, they’ll head straight to the championship series, that gets underway on Monday, June 25. If the Gators end up getting the win, they’ll force the Razorbacks into a second matchup on Saturday for all the marbles — or baseballs.
