North Carolina put on an offensive clinic during the regional round, averaging 11.3 runs per game to win the four-team Chapel Hill Regional that it hosted. The Tar Heels tallied 19 runs in the victory over Houston that sealed their spot in the Super Regionals. It was the most runs UNC has scored in an NCAA Tournament game.
