Not only did Wondolowski score 27 goals, but he also had a career-high seven assists. The combined total of 34 goals and assists were the most in league history, besting Lassiter’s 1996 campaign in which he scored 27 goals with four assists. Wondolowski’s goal total was more than Chivas USA scored as a team all year.
