While many fans are under the impression that Georges St. Pierre is training full time with Freddie Roach, that isn't the case. Still, GSP is putting in a good amount of time with Roach and Freddie has a good idea of the techniques that Georges does well and can break down technical striking aspects very well.

That is what makes Roach talking strategy with Fight Hub TV so interesting. From the interview:
“Koscheck jumps in from far away,” Roach told FightHubtv.com. “I told (Georges) to not pull away from that and beat that on the counter. I told him, ‘I think you’ll knock him out with the left hook in that fight.’”
That "jumping in" is what left Koscheck open to the uppercut from Paulo Thiago that knocked him out in a massive upset.
