In August, former UFC star and current Bellator fighter Roger Huerta was involved in a streetfight in Austin, Tx. It wasn’t a case of a professional fighter getting into random fights with people at bars though. In this case a man had punched a woman and Huerta, known as someone who is protective of women, took care of business.

But while Roger Huerta was out here training for his fight camp against Pat Curran he was swimming in the beach on the southside of the island of Phuket.
A small child got caught in the under current--and Roger Huerta preformed CPR on her until paramedics arrived (which in Thailand took sometime--greatly making 'survival odds' seem unlikely). Literally it was the type of experience that changes most peoples lives forever.
↵It should be impossible to hate a guy with Roger’s great back-story, all-out action style and tendency to take extreme measures to protect the innocent.
