UFC on Versus 3: Diego Sanchez Talks Greg Jackson’s Improvement As A Coach

- Diego Sanchez says Georges St. Pierre comes to Jackson's "like once a year". Says he loves training with Carlos Condit, but won't fight teammates.

- C.B. Dollaway says he wants redemption against Mark Munoz to avenge Aaron Simpson's loss to him.

- Munoz says he would love to be a part of The Ultimate Fighter Philippines coach if the UFC goes forward with it. Munoz says there are actually good guys in Philippines and points to an older fighter in the URCC.

- Munoz says he was into that "wrestler mentality" against Yushin Okami even though he was doing well on the feet. He had to change his perspective around to be a fighter, not a wrestler.

- Diego Sanchez says that Greg Jackson is a better coach. He’s always been open minded and evolving his game. Says in his own three-year absence he’s seen a lot of different fighters with different styles. Greg is a master of putting MMA together: putting wrestling and kickboxing together, mixing it and making it into some different. That’s what he does best, says Sanchez. He says that’s what he tried to do in San Diego, but they do a lot of real MMA in Greg Jackson. Sanchez says he trusts Jackson to do that. “I’m not the best at that. He’s the best at that.”

- Sanchez says fighting the championship is his dream and will always be his dream, but that’s not his primary concern. Before being a world champion, he has to be champion of the world in the gym. Working one fight at a time.

- Diego says The Ultimate Fighter was one of the most important moments of his career. He says when all distractions are removed he becomes a much better fighter. Doesn't have much to say about Brock Lesnar and Junior dos Santos, but knows JDS a little bit and that "he's a cool dude."

Dollaway says on TUF he fought three times in 10 days. You can prove a lot of things to yourself and grow up. Says the cameras prepare you for the UFC and you won’t get blown away by your first UFC experience.

- Dollaway says it has been a challenge starting a new gym. Says there was a time he didn’t even have a place to train. Also points to the extra work - meeting the city, e.g. - but says it’s a long-run smart decision. Gym soft opening on March 1 and grand opening on March 19th.

- Diego on weight training - eight days before fight he’s roughly 187lbs. Has a long, hard cut ahead of him.

- Martin says he is worried about nothing else, just focusing on the fight.

- Martin says Sanchez has better cardio than Jake Shields, is more tenacious. Since then he's been working a lot on takedown defense. Expects Sancehz to try and take him down. Says he's been training with Ray Sefo for his kickboxing.

- Munoz says training with Anderson Silva and the tools they have is extremely beneficial. He's also training with Rafael Cordeiro.
