UFC 128 Fight Card Preview: Luiz Cane Vs Eliot Marshall
This one is a tough call. Eliot Marshall is making an attempt at getting back in the UFC's good graces and Luiz Cane is one loss away from being cut. Marshal typically wins fights with a grinding top game-heavy style, but he doesn't want to put on a dull showing if he can stand it. I don't think he necessarily has to submit Cane, but Marshal needs to bring it in this fight.
Cane hasn’t won a fight since 2009. He needs to get his act together before being relegated to the minor leagues. Known for his striking, Cane should be able to outpoint Marshall if he can keep this fight on the feet. I just think Marshall is too much to deal with on the ground. I like Marshall in a close one.
