Beautifully timed takedown by Schaub and it lands. Upkick also lands for Mirko. Finally some tough ground and pound lands for Schaub, but still in full guard. A near hip bump escape puts CroCop back on his feet. Failed outside trip for Schaub. Schaub staying busy and landing some decent but small shots.

ROUND 2 - Big right hand misses for Schaub. CroCop throws the head kick, but it’s blocked and now Schaub gets the takedown. CroCop gets warned for an upkick. Left straight for the Croatian that lands. Fighters now clinch fighting in close quarters along the fence. Small uppercut lands for CroCop, but he’s being controlled. Nice over the top elbow for CroCop. Schaub is bleeding profusely now. A point is being taken from Schaub for shots to the back of the head. Knee tap takedown fails for Schaub. Close round.

ROUND 3 - Leg kick for CroCop, but seemingly lands too low. Time is stopped to give Schaub recovery time. CroCop charges in and they clinch. Fantasically-timed takedown for Schaub lands and Mirko is on his back. Yet, another takedown for Schaub, blast-double like. Schaub passes to half guard. CroCop back to his feet. Two small left straights for CroCop find the mark. Head kick by CroCop blocked. Double leg stuffed for CroCop, but they go back to their feet. And then one right hand from Schaub ends the night.
