Double leg for Faber nearly lands, but Wineland whizzers hard and continues to stand. Failed trip takedown by Wineland and the two still clinch along the fence. Wineland working from double underhooks. Big slam for Wineland, but Faber pops back up immediately. Right hand lands for Faber. Left now lands for Faber. Failed shoulder throw for Faber and the fighters separate. Leg kick from Faber meets a right hand from Wineland.

ROUND 2 - Body kick lands for Faber to start the round. Faber is stalking and Wineland misses with several punches. Faber grabs a single and kicks out Wineland’s post. Working now from Wineland’s full guard. Hard elbows on top now from Faber. Hard punches also now on top from Faber. Wineland tries a hip bump escape, but Faber wrestles him back to the canvas. Faber still controlling position, but missing some of his strikes from on top. Hard elbow now on top as the round draws to a close.

ROUND 3 - Wineland starts the round stalking Faber, but Faber inching position in on him. Faber just plain reaches for a single, but Wineland stuffs it easily. Faber changes levels again and drives Wineland into the fence, but can’t get the takedown. Wineland gets caught with some huge punches from Faber. Faber potshotting Wineland now from his distance and Wineland content to counterfight. Explosive level change and reshot from Faber gets the takedown with just over a minute left.
