The first round was huge for Jon Jones. Mauricio Rua needed a huge second round to regain momentum. Shogun started the round gassed and seemingly bewildered.

ROUND 2 -Outside leg kick checked by Rua. Diving punch from Rua misses and now they clinch against the fence. Spinning back elbow lands for Jones. Hard. Inside leg kick lands now Jones and as Shogun charges he’s missing everything. The fighters clinch in the center of the cage and now separate. Shogun reaching high for punches but can’t land much. Jones picking apart Rua. Rua lands nice outside leg kick, but is taken down in the process. Jones on top now controlling Rua, but not doing a ton of damage.
