Left hand glances for Madsen. Another right hook for Madsen lands. Russow doing the stalking now. Outside leg kick for Madsen. Knee from the clinch finds the mark for Madsen. Uppercut, albeit a small one, finds the mark for Russow. Referee calls for action as not much seems to be happening. Russow’s ear is bleeding. Hard to judge this round.

ROUND 2 - Russow charges in, but doesn’t hit much. Russow charges through punches to tie up with Madsen against the fence. Madsen charges in with punches but misses badly and is stuffed from a shot attempt. Madsen overcommits on a punch, turns around and is taken down and held by Russow. The fighters stand and now re-clinch against the fence. The referee restarts them for lack of activity. Russow is albe to get Madsen back down again, spins around and holds the ankle to claim position.
