    ROUND 1 - Nogueira comes out southpaw and Davis already feinting level changes while pawing distances. Two head kick attempts from Davis and the second land. The third does, too. Takedown attempt from Davis initally stuffed and he abandons the effort. Davis times a nice shot under a straight right from Nogueira, but is rebuffed. Another shot stuffed by Nogueira after a head kick attempt from Davis. More of the same as Davis cannot take Nogueira down. Straight left for Nogueira

    UFC Fight Night 24 Results: Anthony Johnson Dominates Dan Hardy En Route To Unanimous Decision

    The referee in charge of the fight is Josh Rosenthal.

    ROUND 1 - Fighters touch gloves hesitantly to start the action. Hard inside low kick for Johnson is the first strike of the bout. Hard head kick floors Hardy and knocks him to the ground. Hardy recovers and is trying to wrestle his way to his feet and does. Single leg drive keeps Hardy on the floor. Johnson working on top now in Hardy’s full guard. Johnson landing a couple of shots from top position, but nothing particularly brutal. Hardy attempts a kimura from side control, but nothing doing.

    UFC Fight Night 24 Results: Amir Sadollah Bodies DaMarques Johnson To Second Round Stoppage

    The referee in charge of the action is Mario Yamasaki.

    ROUND 1 - Sadollah takes the center of the cage, but slips on a kick. Johnson ends up on top in side control. Sadollah is able to stand and the fighters start over in the center. Sadollah throws a push kick, misses and Johnson uses the caught kick to drive Sadollah back to the mat. Johnson trying to advance position, but nothing doing. He’s also largely unable to land any ground and pound. Left hook from Sadollah drops Johnson, but he recovers immediately. Hard outside head throw lands for Johnson, but Sadollah stands back up. Now Johnson gets taken down by Sadollah close to the cage. Johnson attempts a triangle, but nothing doing.

    The referee in charge of the action is Dan Miragliotta.

    ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox and Jung stars with an outside leg kick. Garcia responds in kind. Outside kick again for Jung. Hard right hand misses for Garcia as he lunges in. Leg kick lands for Garcia by Jung responds with a right straight. Hard left hook finds the mark for Garcia. Uppercut and outside leg kick lands for Jung. Both fighters trading head kicks over and over this fight. Uppercut to outside trip lands for Jung. Knees from the clinch after Garcia stands hurt Garcia badly. Garcia recovers and Jung working from on top. Jung passes to mount and then takes the back as the round ends.

    UFC Fight Night 24 Results: Mike Russow Stops Jon Madsen After Eye Injury

    The referee in charge of the action is Anthony Hamlett.

    ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox. Correction: Madsen standing southpaw. Both fighters also punch, clinch and then separate. Right hand from Madsen finds the mark. Left hand glances for Madsen. Another right hook for Madsen lands. Russow doing the stalking now. Outside leg kick for Madsen. Knee from the clinch finds the mark for Madsen. Uppercut, albeit a small one, finds the mark for Russow. Referee calls for action as not much seems to be happening. Russow’s ear is bleeding. Hard to judge this round.

    UFC Fight Night 24 Results: Mackens Semerzier Chokes Out Alex Caceres

    The referee in charge of the action is Mario Yamasaki.

    ROUND 1 - Caceres standing southpaw and feeds a straight left to Semerzier. Semerzier pressing Caceres into the cage and slams him to the floor. Caceres is able to stand by Semerzier trips him back down. Caceres tries to stand and does, but is taken back down and this time in mount. Mackens now in full back control and pounding on Caceres. Caceres almost shakes him off the back, but can’t. As they fall back to the mount, Semerzier yanks a rear naked choke and gets the tap from Caceres.

    UFC Fight Night 24 Results: John Hathaway Wins Dubious Split Decision Over Kris McCray

    The referee in charge of the action is Herb Dean.

    ROUND 1 - Both fighters lock up right away and separate. Outside kick lands for McCray, but he eats a right hand in the process. McCray presses Hathaway into the fence and tries for a body lock takedown, but gets nowhere. Hathaway reaches for a toe hold, but can’t get it. McCray on top now in half guard. Hathaway is trying to stand as he gets close throws a knee. McCray catches the knee and turns it into a hard slam. Hathaway tries to stand again, and again, is taken down from a body lock. Hard knee from Hathaway to finish the round.

    UFC Fight Night 24 Results: Michael McDonald Beats Edwin Figueroa In A Thrilling Scrap

    The referee in charge of the action is

    ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox and a monster overhand right from Figueroa misses. Left hook from McDonland lands and launches a huge striking exchange with McDonald getting the better of it by far. Two right hands from McDonald find the mark for McDonald and the young fighter ducks numerous punches from Figueroa. Hard left hook to the body lands for Figueroa, but a right straight for McDonald finds the mark. Double leg takedown from McDonald lands easily off the scoop. An active guard allows Figueroa to create space and stand. McDonald lands a hard right hand just as the bell sounds.

    UFC Fight Night 24 Results: Christian Morecraft Standing Guillotines Sean McCorkle

    The referee for this action is Anthony Hamlett.

    ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox, Morecraft starts early with an outside leg kick. He then lunges in with a hard right and clinches with McCorkle. From double underhooks McCorkle gets a trip takedown against the fence and is now working from Morecraft’s guard. Morecraft sat back for a kneebar, but it went nowhere. However, it did allow Morecraft to get on top. Morecraft working now from McCorkle’s half guard and unloading big elbows. Morecraft stands back out of McCorkle’s guard and kicks the legs of his downed opponent. The referee strangely refuses to stand them up and Morecraft eventually stars more ground and pound, now in side control on McCorkle.

    UFC Fight Night 24 Results: Johny Hendricks Knocks Out T.J. Waldburger In Round One

    There wasn’t much to this one. Hendricks ended it early and with potential Knockout of the Night honors awaiting him at the event’s conclusion.

    At the beginning of the round Waldburger threw a kick and Hendricks timed it with excellent precision. The hard shot dropped Waldburger to the canvas and the referee stopped the fight immediately.

    UFC Fight Night 24 Results: Aaron Simpson Mario Miranda

    The story of this fight turned out to be the wrestling of Aaron Simpson. Coincidentally, this is precisely how Maia was able to avoid the considerable stand-up skills of Miranda as well. In Simpson’s case, the former Division I wrestler was able to take down Miranda at will. He even scored a questionable spike in the second.

    The third was more of the same. Simpson’s superior wrestling and clinch wrestling paved the way for a workmanlike win. It was a dominating performance and given the strong liabilities of Miranda when it comes to the ground game, expect the middleweight fighter to be cut from the UFC.

    UFC Fight Night 24 Results: Nik Lentz Guillotines Waylon Lowe Out Of Nowhere

    It was a fight Lentz was on his way to losing. Down two rounds to one, Lentz was being dominated in every aspect of the game by a superior athlete. Lowe was controlling the where the fight took place with superior wrestling. He was also landing the harder, more damaging shots, especially in the third round.

    Then came a tactical error. Lowe shot in, but Lentz, still hunting for the win, managed to sink in a guillotine choke and out of nowhere, force the top.
