The Ultimate Fighter 13 Ratings: Episode 8 Earns 1.2 Million Viewers

Ratings for Spike TV’s ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ continue to hold steady more than halfway through the season. According to reports from Spike TV officials, last night’s episode (the eighth of the season) earned a 1.12 household rating. More specifically, the show pulled a 1.1 in males 18 to 49 and a 1.14 in males 18 to 34. The average audience last night was 1.2 million viewers.

The episode featured two fights: Clay Harvison of Team Lesnar vs. Ramsey Nijem of Team dos Santos as well as Chris Cope of Team Lesnar vs. Shamar Bailey of Team dos Santos.

Spike TV officials also note among basic cable networks between 9 and 10 p.m. ET, the show ranked second in makes 18 to 34 behind NBA Playoffs on TNT, game two of the series between the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat.

Questions regarding the removal of season 13 coach and one-UFC 131 competitor Brock Lesnar from his number-one contender fight with fellow season 13 coach Junior dos Santos appear to be at least somewhat answered. The show's ratings did not demonstrate an appreciable slide or decline, likely indicating viewers watching the program were not doing so to monitor Lesnar's rivalry or relationship with dos Santos.
