In the 5th round of the Showtime pay-per-view bout between Manny Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 KO) and "Sugar" Shane Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KO) there was an early headbutt and Mosley appeared affected by it. Both men settled back to jabbing early. Pacquiao landed the straight left that has started to work reliably. Body shot by Mosley and another quickly follows. Pacquiao continued to control the pace of the fight, walking Mosley down and forcing him to play defense rather than letting his hands go. Right hand hits the gloves of Manny. Mosley continues to jab through the round and lands a left hook counter. Much better round for Shane. But still not enough.
