In the 9th round of the Showtime pay-per-view bout between Manny Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 KO) and "Sugar" Shane Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KO) Manny came forward and tried to find the opening but Mosley defended well. Mosley starting to throw the hard right hand this round but keeping it to one at a time. Hard jab by Mosley lands. Pacquiao throwing big combinations now with a few punches getting through. Jabs land for both men.

Manny goes body, head and then a hard one-two combination that lands very hard. Hook by Pacquiao and he goes to it again. The aggression of Pacquiao forced Mosley to shut down the aggression he was showing early. Hard straight right by Manny lands and he wins the round handily.
