ROUND 1 - Massenzio shoots early and puts Soszynski on the mat against the fence. Soszynski back to his feet, and we’re back center-cage. Massenzio shoots again, but Soszynski defends. Massenzio has him pressed up against the fence. Disengaged now. Soszynski lands a jab. Lazy one-two misses. Straight left from Massenzio. Massenzio ducks under punches and puts Soszynski back on the mat. Soszynski back up. Jab. Jab. He shrugs off a takedown attempt from Massenzio. Two leg kicks. Massenzio responds with one of his own. Massenzio dives in aagain, and Soszynski stuffs. Uppercut from Soszynski. Massenzio with a straight left. Massenzio catches a leg kick into a takedown. In half-guard. Soszynski rolls and stands back up. Massenzio presses him against the fence. Dornan with a quick restart. Soszynski missing with puches. Stuffs a takedown from Massenzio, who lands a knee as they disengage. Left hand clips Massenzio. Another takedown stuffed.

ROUND 2 - Massenzio lands punches on Soszynski’s forearm. Soszynski stuffs a takedown, but finds himself pressed up against the fence. He’s throwing body shots in between Massenzio yanks. Soszynski sprawls. He might be looking for a guillotine here. Short punches. Short knees to the body. Dornan asks them to work. Back to their feet with Massenzio pressing on the fence. They break. Massenzio shoots, but Soszynski shrugs him off. Jabs from Soszynski. Massenzio is diving for takedowns now. Massenzio lands a left hand. Soszynski responds. Massenzio gets a hold of a leg, drives, but runs into the fence. Soszynski landing short punches with his back on the fence. Dornan steps in for another restart. Massenzio shoots, Soszynski sprawls. Soszynski landing punches as the round ends.

ROUND 3 - Soszynski lands a leg kick. Knee from the clinch. Punches along the fence. Massenzio shoots, but this time Soszynski takes his back. Massenzio rolls over into side control. Back to the turtle. Short elbows to the midsection from Soszynski. Now bigger. Punches. Soszynski looking for a kimura from this position. Lets it go. Knee to the body. And another. A third. Two more. Three more. Two minutes to go. Massenzio needs a miracle. He’s just taking knees. Soszynski grabs a hold of a bulldog choke. Massenzio sneaks out. He has top control for a moment. Soszynski works back to his feet. Dornan breaks them up quickly once again. Soszynski sprawls. Just too much muscle for Massenzio.
