A broken toe was not enough to slow Jon Jones at UFC 159 at Prudential Center in New Jersey Saturday. In UFC 159's main event, Jones defeated Chael Sonnen by TKO 4:44 into the first round of a Light Heavyweight title bout.

The post-fight interviewed showed the rather ugly image of Jones’ broken toe. Sonnen may choose to retire after the defeat.
In the co-main event earlier, Michael Bisping defeated Alan Belcher by technical decision in a Middleweight fight after an illegal eye poke by Belcher. The judges cards read 30-27, 30-27, 29-28, giving Bisping the victory.
In other main-event action, Roy Nelson did not need long to knock out Cheick Kongo in Heavyweight competition. The bout was stopped 2:03 into the first round when the hard-hitting Nelson record his 10th-consecutive knockout.
In Lightweight action, Pat Healy choked out Jim Miller for a technical submission. After the bout Healy complimented his opponent, saying, "He's one of the toughest and to be honest, one of my favorite fighters. It was an honor to be fighting him." But he had a message for the rest of the division:
